The Gouffre de Padirac informs its visitors

The Administrative Court of Toulouse has declared illegal the introduction, in the summer of 2022, of paid parking near the Gouffre de Padirac by the Municipality of Padirac.
This decision is now final.

While the Gouffre de Padirac has always maintained free parking for its visitors, parking meters were installed unilaterally and without prior notice by the Municipality on land located near the site.

The Gouffre de Padirac and its visitors suffered the consequences: criticisms unfairly directed at the site, deterioration of the visitor experience, and the addition of a parking fee to the price of the ticket.

Despite the Administrative Court’s ruling, the Municipality has chosen to maintain paid parking on its land. The Gouffre de Padirac has therefore filed new appeals to safeguard its rights and those of its visitors.
